Courtney Miles, a native Texan, lives and works in Dallas. She received her BFA from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and her MFA from University of Dallas in Irving. Her artwork explores the nature of narcissism and social identity through performance, installation, drawing and painting.
Courtney is also a commissioned commercial and residential muralist & painter with works ranging from large outdoor installations to private luxury homes and educational institutions. She has taught art at both the college and high school levels and continues to teach privately as well as consult.
For five years, Courtney ran and managed an art gallery in Dallas. She is a founding member of Art Conspiracy, an organization which raises money for local art-based non-profits.
