Courtney Miles Baraff

Courtney is a commercial and residential muralist and painter with works ranging from large outdoor installations to private luxury homes and educational institutions. She has taught art at both the college and high school levels and continues to teach privately as well as consult.  

For five years, Courtney ran an art gallery in Dallas. She is a founding member of Art Conspiracy, an organization which raises money for local art-based non-profits. She designed and painted murals for thirteen Trader Joe’s stores throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Colorado.

Her favorite art is when she collaborates with her sister, Cara Johnston. Their original play, THE LITTLE GLASS SLIPPER AS PERFORMED BY THE QUEEN OF FRANCE AND HER FRIENDS, premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2021.

Courtney, a native Texan, lives in Dallas with her husband, Rick, and twins, Edie and Clyde.

 Cara Miles Johnston

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Cara is an artist, actor, playwright and director currently based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she resides with her husband and pet rabbit. Cara wrote The Little Glass Slipper as Performed by the Queen of France and her Friends after a trip to Paris to celebrate her wedding anniversary.
